About

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of English Language and Literature and a Rackham Merit Fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. As an interdisciplinary scholar and educator, I specialize in Caribbean and Latinx literature, digital humanities, and women’s studies.

Fellowships and grants from the University of Michigan’s Rackham Humanities Research Fellowship-Dissertation Award, the Institute for Research on Women & Gender’s Community of Scholars program, and the Caribbean Digital Scholarship Collective have supported my work.

I completed my M.A. in English at the University of Michigan and my B.A. in English at Florida International University, where I was a Mellon-Hispanic Serving Institutions Pathways to the Professoriate Fellow.

I also serve on the executive council of the Association of Caribbean Women Writers and Scholars.
